My name is Dennis Palumbo. I like the outdoor life and to travel. I also like the photography - travelling helps me find great photographs.
I seem to read a lot about people getting into trouble in wild - and not so wild! - countries. So, I like to share my experiences a little.
I think people should be careful and plan their travels, both for what they would like to do but also for what might happen if things go wrong.
I started this blog to share some basic ideas about bushcraft and survival training you can get to help you be safe when you travel "off the beaten track".
